Our high quality skids are made from stamped 5052 aluminum, providing lightweight and strong underbody protection. All Quadratec Modular Skid Plates are a simple no drill installation that’s easy to install with the included hardware and brackets. The 6mm thick aluminum panels are the next evolution in under body protection providing superior strength and flexibility while minimizing weight. Why do we use aluminum for our skid plates? Aluminum’s density is about 1/3 that of steel and the advantage of the increased material thickness to offset strength actually makes aluminum more dent resistant over steel skid plates of the same weight. Aluminum is extremely corrosion resistant and will not rust even if the surface coating becomes gouged or scratched. Aluminum is the true winner over steel in cost, strength and durability. Each panel is laser cut and press formed for a precision fit.
Engine Skid Plates feature removable access panels to the oil drain plug. Skid plates feature recessed bolt heads, drainage provisions and stamped embossing where applicable. Our modular skid plates have a durable silver powder coat finish for awesome looks and lasting durability.
Kit includes Engine / Transmission Skid Plate & Transfer Case Skid Plate with all of the mounting hardware and necessary brackets.
