This brand new Mopar Sailcloth Soft Top Kit is unlike anything you’ve ever seen on a Wrangler. This complete soft top kit from Mopar will include everything necessary to make the transformation from hard top to a soft top on the Wrangler JL vehicle. This top kit features an upgraded Sunrider feature with a gas strut assisted mechanism that is simple to detach and open the front section.
Once the top is flipped back in Sunrider position, simply pull the handle in the rear to release the hardware and allow the top to move and down with little effort on the new hardware rails. With these new innovative designs, gone are the days of struggling with bulky hardware to raise or lower the soft top. The rear 40mil thick windows glide in and out using a zipper-less C-channel attachment and when removed leaves you with a full length safari style bikini top for the ultimate in open air feel.
The Mopar Soft Top is designed to work perfectly with the factory full steel doors to make a complete seal from the elements. The thick black Sailcloth material is extremely durable and quiet, and is designed to last through any type of weather.
Like previous models of the Wrangler, the Sunrider feature of the soft top will still "flip" back, exposing the driver and passenger area overhead. But the manual clips that need to be undone to make this happen, have been replaced by a side track system that the Sunrider portion sits upon. This upgraded design makes operating not only the Sunrider portion simple, but the entire soft top will retract down with ease. One person can now make the transformation from fully covered, to open air within minutes!
All of the windows on the soft top kit will attach together to the Wrangler JL via a newly designed channel and retaining system. This means no more broken zipper teeth or fighting with stubborn zipper pulls when you want to remove or put the windows back in after a day out enjoying the day.
