The cargo basket measures 49 inches x 22-1/2 inches and is tested and rated for 500 pounds. The rust-free welded aluminum tubing provides a lightweight structure while still supplying exceptional strength. The basket also features 4-inch high walls around the perimeter to keep items better secure over bumps and potholes. This cargo carrier is equipped with a standard, folding 2-inch x 2-inch shank to fit most class 3, class 4 and class 5 hitches. All hardware for assembly and a trailer hitch pin for secure mounting in the hitch receiver are included. Built-in reflectors are mounted on the back basket rail which add visibility for increased safety.
